Ways to Volunteers > Troop Leader / Co-Leader
> Troop Volunteer > Service Team Member > Delegate > Trainer > Product Sales > Advisor > Committee Member All new volunteers are invited to a service unit leader Investiture / Rededication Ceremony. This special ceremony is usually held at the November Service Unit Meeting.

Volunteer GuidelinesAll Volunteers will:
> Become a registered adult member of GSUSA > Complete a Volunteer Application and Background Check > Support the Girl Scout Mission, Promise and Law > Practice welcoming and inclusive behavior > Complete training's in a timely manner as mandated by GSSEF |
Steps to Become A Volunteer
> Register as an adult member > Select the role that is right for you > Complete the background screening process > Complete the welcome video (These 4 steps are all done online through the online Girl Scout Member Community. If you are already a registered member of a troop, you can add volunteer roles within your membership record.) > Receive a troop number (new troops) > Attend a Volunteer Essentials class (required within firs 60 days) > Communicate with the Service Unit and attend a Service Unit new leader orientation. |
